Jaafar was haunted by dreams for few weeks prior to the pandemic. Many members of his family and close circle appeared to him in his frequent nightmares. In 2020, the pandemic hit Bahrain and took them all. Jaffar’s emotions were so overwhelming that he turned to this artwork as a way to work things through and process his feelings.
