Commissioned by a leading creative studio in the region, this project came with a sweet challenge. Ammar Basheir Creative Studio commissioned me to develop a pattern that represents Bahrain’s heritage and culture, inspired by the art of door engraving and the local art of pattern making.
I started with analyzing the art of pattern making in Bahrain to use the same design principles and rules. Then I created a set of elements that became the raw material. Afterward, The main challenge became to develop the final piece of art by these elements. To finally create a non-repetitive pattern on the size of four meters by eight meters. The final result was described as a true capture of the soul of Bahrain’s heritage.
