جعفر الحداد طالب عِمارة في جامعة البحرين و فنان فوتوغرافي بحريني ولد في عام 1996م، بدأ شغفه بالفن من سن مبكرة جداً، حيث حصد ميدالية فضية من مسابقة شنكار الدولية لفن الطفل في الهند و هو دون العاشرة، في 2008م بدأ توجهه للتصوير الفوتوغرافي، كُلل هذا التوجه بالحصول على أول وسام شرف في أول مسابقة فوتوغرافية يشارك بها في اسبانيا و هو دون الثامنة عشر، يؤمن جعفر بأن الفن هو قناة للتواصل الفكري، مساحة للتواصل، و بُعد جديد للذات!

خلال السنوات الأخيرة تطور اهتمامه تجاه الفن و الثقافة، مع مشاركاته العديدة في مختلف المعارض كان جلياً منها مشاركته في “فعالية العش 2015” التي تنظمها مساحة الرواق الفنية بشكل سنوي، حيث عرض له مشروع “صورة متعددة لمدينة المنامة”، بالإضافة لمشاركته مؤخراً في “فيوز بحرين 2016” الذي أقيم بالتعاون بين عدد من الجهات الفنية المهمة في البحرين بمشروع “على الأبواب المغلقة”! و يتجه جعفر اليوم نحو التدوين الأسبوعي حول عدد مواضيع تخص مدينة المنامة و العمل على مشاريع توثيقية و فنية طويلة الأمد.

Jaffar Alhaddad, Architecture student in University of Bahrain and Bahraini photographic Artist who was born in 1996. His passion began with art from a very early age, where he won a silver medal from the International Shankar children Art competition in India and he was below ten. In 2008, he began heading for photography, and got his first honorable mention in the first photography contest he participated in Spain and he was under the age of eighteen. Jaffar believes that art is a channel to communicate. Intellectual discourse space. and a new dimension to our soul!

In recent years, his interests towards art and culture has evolved. However, Between many participations in different exhibitions, “Multiple Exposure of Manama City” project which showed in “The Nest 2015” –an yearly art festival organized by Alriwaq Art Space- was totally special! In addition, his last participation was at “Views Bahrain 2016” –an art exhibition organized by number of important art authorities in Bahrain- by “One the Closed Doors” project. Today, Jaffar focus in writing weekly blogs talking about Manama City and doing so long term documentary and artistic projects.
